Ralph McQuarrie's paintings not only inspired studio executives to green light a little movie called "Star Wars", but his visions brought the Star Wars universe to life to the original trilogy, and inspired those that followed in his footsteps to design the prequels, as well as other artists who used that universe to use as their palette.
